I see triangles everywhere! Thanks for the comment. There is much more that will be written about perspectivalism. David and I have considered writing something, but I agree we need a simpler name.

Drew-

Thanks for Frame's primer. When you really start to think through this stuff, you really begin to see the world in triangles.

I've just started reading Hirsch's "The Forgotten Ways" and in chapter 1 he argues that "a true encounter with God in Jesus must result in: worship, discipleship and mission."

Worship - Normative
Discipleship - Existential
Mission - Situational

He goes on to argue "that practically as well as theologically these are profoundly interconnected, and each informs the other to create a complex phenomenon called "church". This definition is important because it distills the core aspects of what constitutes a faith ecclesia." Maybe I'm making a stretch, but that seems like something Frame himself could have written.

The problem I face is practically how to really benefit from this approach. It has helped to keep us balanced, but I feel like there is so much more to be written on the triperspectival approach. Being in a church plant where "the cement is still wet" so to speak, I really want to continue to develop and think through this framework and how it can positively affect the ministry in our church. Thanks for all of the stuff that you have already written - it has helped tremendously.

Now someone just needs to come up with a more accessible name than "multiperspectival"...
