2006 National New Church Conference

I just bought my tickets to attend the 2006 National New Church Conference.

Twelve front-line, church planting leaders will facilitate our time together through main sessions, interviews, and Q & A sessions. These speakers are leaders in their areas of passion. Gene Appel / Ed Stetzer / Dave Ferguson / Mark Driscoll / Bob Roberts, Jr. / Ron Sylvia / Neil Cole / John Burke / Larry Osborne / Bob Logan / Steve Andrews / Dave Nelson The conference experience is designed to connect, equip, inspire and challenge church planting leaders. Through pre-conference intensives, main sessions, workshops, and networking time you will meet other leaders with similar questions, struggles and passions.

Anyone else plan on attending?

I wish. I must admit my envy at the accessibility of some conferences happening in the US this year (every year actually). Will no doubt be a good one Drew.

Can’t say that I’m interested. What does “front-line, church planting leaders” even mean? I’m getting tired of all the marketing plans and business models of the church. Go to the website and look at all the names of the courses offered. Count the number of times you see the name “Jesus” vs. the number of times you see the word “marketing” or something similar. Something’s wrong there. Not trying to rant, but just making the point.

We really need to hang out more. I’m going to this. I was asked by Acts 29 to go and do some assessing there. So…off I go to assess and perhaps teach one of the sessions.

Looking forward to seeing you there!!!
