I love the redemptive historical pattern. One aside I'd add, I believe the gospel is everywhere...except maybe in some forms of telemarketing (like the ones that interrupt my family dinner with low-finance loans that keep coming after I've sold my home). Those are straight from the devil and I don't care what you say! Also those Checks-into-cash places...pure Eeee-VIL!
