Having tried to make this adjustment in my old church and denomination I have seen this difficulty first hand. Even when the church loves you, they can be so satisfied with the anemic trickle of disillusioned Church Growth Movement transfers that they feel any change (especially one so drastic) is a betrayal. This is extremely helpful, thank you so much for posting this. I'm going to share it with all of our Missional Community leaders. This is a very helpful way to deal with the tension on multiple fronts. I believe this provides a great way to see the differences between each ecclesial form and at the same time to help recognize the benefits of each in connecting with others. I think this is also helpful to assist those in the church to see the different forms at which we need to be functioning biblically, and my hope is that it will help us see the benefit of what others are doing even when it doesn't align with our mode of ministry.
