Worse than Internet Porn?

The danger of the internet isn't necessarily the porn, but the continued wasting of time to find the next great thing.

great insight. it’s not always the things that are blatantly wrong that kills us. there’s enough guilt to keep that from getting out of hand. it’s the things that aren’t necessarily wrong that will slowly waste us away.

“Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one–the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.”

so…. in light of that…. where does blogging rank in wasting time? :-P

Drew, there are some quotes that you should keep to yourself for the sake of not ruining other people’s days. I was joyfully surfing the web for “the next great thing” when I read this. Now I am licking my wounds. Thanks bro.

Mark - It took me a while to post this one. I love surfing (wasting time?) the internet, so this one is something I’m thinking through. I’ve caught myself several times lately and I ask, “How is this helping the vision/calling I have?” Usually I close a couple tabs of meaningless drivel.
