Hi Drew,

Just wanted to drop you a line. I am a church planter in downtown Vancouver Canada - www.firstatnight.com

My aunt, uncle and 2 cousins live in San Diego and I make it down there every couple of years. I went to The Rock church with my cousin - It was ok, but not really my vibe.

We are into the second year of our plant, and are struggling. We need to reboot and draw up a new strategic plan. I still feel called to downtown Vancouver - to be a Christian community incarnating the gospel here.

Would love to connect with you some more, and even drop in on your church next time I'm in San Diego. You can drop me a line, via the e-mail address I provided.

Sounds like you are doing a great work up there.

blessings,

At OurChurch.Com and at my church were I serve as an elder we refer to the 3 factors to consider when selecting leaders as the 3 C's: competance, character, and chemistry. We don't hire a staff person or select a volunteer to lead unless they have all 3.
