Your question is challenging… At this point in my life I can't honestly answer all the questions. But, prior to about 6 months ago I would have emphatically said "NO!" This is not the case anymore. As I continue to learn what it is I believe and why I believe it, the Gospel of Jesus Christ continues to do an amazing work in my life and my heart. As a Christian who truly desires to see the world radically transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, how can I isolate my self from the culture in which God has commanded me to go? Like or not, these are parts of the cultures in which we find ourselves. In Gods sovereignty He has chosen us to be here in this time and in this place for His good purpose. Ultimately, culture matters. This is a subject that has only recently been revealed to me. I don't completely understand it yet, but I'm learning. Contend for the faith once delivered to the saints, contextualize to where you are. If I can't do this then I don't love them.

Thanks Drew for the ongoing conversation we have on this subject.
