How can we help my son from 2000 miles away? He has been beaten, raped, and stabbed since being confined to Donovan in Oct. 2007. He’s in solitary confinement for his own protection, yet they took his belongs again, won’t let him have the stuff I was sending him before to help try and keep his spirits up, comics, little upliftin articles, etc. nothing dirty or anything, just comments and stuff like that, things I knew that would help him to smile. He is not a violent person, in fact I sometimes think he would be fairing better if he was more aggressive. He yells, but he’s never been much at physical aggression, even after spending 6&1/2 years in the Navy. Please let us know if there’s somebody out there we can contact to help us help him. Thank you.

my son has been in donovan since oct of 07 and has been in solitary confinement for most of the time that he has been there. Supposedly this time it’s for his own safety as he has been beaten, raped, and stabbed, since he’s been there. He spent two weeks in the Crisis Treatment Center not too long ago and then was transferred back to solitary. My son is not a violent person they have him on Lithum and Lord only knows what else. They took all of his personal belongings again and also charged him what little money I had been able to send him to mail stuff back to me. I don’t understand why, if solitary confinement is for his own safety, they have taken his belongings from him. He’s in lock down 23/7, they won’t let him call home, now they’ve told us he can’t have newspaper clippings, I was sending him comics, etc. nothing dirty or anything like that, poems, stuff to try and keep him uplifted. He is a soft-hearted person, loves people, and no he’s not perfect, but then who is?? I am 2000 miles away and can’t get out there again right at present and this is hard on me, always wondering, what next? If he was a violent person I could understand maybe. As it is, we, here at home are very concerned about his well-being. A few weeks ago the cell wiring caught fire and they made them all stay in their cells!! This is outragous and dangerous how can they do these things and get away with it? What if the place had caught on fire and the guys couldn’t have gotten out? How would the “officals” explain that ? My son wanted me to get an address for OSHA or someone that he could write to about all of this and apparently they don’t post recent addresses or one that a person can write to. I am hoping that my son will be able to get probation early or be moved somewhere better before long. I know that the governor is supposed to be transferring inmates etc. When? So far he hasn’t done much appears to us like. My daughter and I both e-mailed him, she was told there was nothing they could do and that’s a lie. He’s the only one that can do something to help us!! If you know of anyone would you please let us know? We are in Booneville, Ms. and I’m hoping to get to San Diego before the summer is out to see my son. Thank you for reading this.

But I just located one of my mothers (sue) younger brothers in the RJ Donovan facility..I trying to find out why he is there and I know he has faith so maybe he attends your sermons..
