Christian or non christian, rock is rock. What the listener and probably 80% of the bands who play it don't know, is that they are addicted to the sound. Infra sound releases endorphines in the body which causes an addiction, And your body seeks it consistantly after it has been exposed to it for long periods of time. And the secular scientists have already brought it forth. Infra sound is found in sub low frequencies from 7 -30 hz which we can't hear, we can only feel. There are many things that emmit infra sound such as the jet engine. But Rock and hip hop are at the top of the list. In also turns into what is called vibro acoustic disease. Type in infra sound on your browser, it's all over the internet. Just wanted you to know what the real problem is. GOD BLESS . ]]> By: Rae Dawn Irene McConill http://www.goodmanson.com/2005-02/28/rock-n-roll-is-from-satan/#comment-107400 Rae Dawn Irene McConill Sun, 02 Sep 2007 22:25:29 +0000 http://www.goodmanson.com/2005-02/28/rock-n-roll-is-from-satan/#comment-107400 I have played music for years studied off and on and listened to just about everything under the Sun.......I am also a songwriter I have done a fair bit of socializing in both secular and Christian music circles.A really cool bass player put it to me once and said 'YOU EITHER PLAY FOR GOD OR THE DEVIL ' I see where she is coming from as I tend to agree,but I think you have to remember that Blues had a baby called rock'n roll and gregorian chants did not have much to do with that.Although some of the chants are beautiful they are simplistic and uplifting and meant to generate worship or meditation before mass....Christian Rock is trying to do the same thing in the church ......maybe God wants the youth to know the Devil does not have all the good music ..Larry Norman used to fester about that a lot but his contribution to Christian music is widely known by many musicians and deeply loved.So I like Hendrix too and he was in Berkley California at the same time Larry Norman was maybe they met who knows .History has a tendency to recreate itself with a different expression ,if you think all Rock is a spawn from the Devil you are giving him to much credit.I was at a concert at a local church in my hometown years ago and my friend and I both saw Jesus dancing on the stage through this smoke ice the performer was sitting in......I did not say anything till we left but we both knew that the Lord was there and it was a great witness to a lot of people . Now you tell me this was a black dude and really Rocked and put on a good show ......and I saw the Lord Dancing ...get it together babies he may come back tomorrow and want to borrow your guitar and amp to show you how good he can play......and I want to see that. Here is my response to these allegations; First of all, I believe that music genres are simply a way for humans to categorize something they don't know what to do with. But if these people would actually believe the Bible they say they represent, they would be aware of a simple fact. Music of all forms originated in Heaven, not on earth. And since Lucifer stole the idea from where he originated, then by all reason Music of all forms came from heaven. So to give the devil credit for something he stole is like blaming a White Witch for what a Satanist has done. The ignorance of such people is staggering to say the least. Music in general has no borders, and has no genres that haven't been applied by human reasoning. So, we have to be clear on one thing. Music, regardless of its genre, by itself and without lyrics is a simple independant non-partisan medium used to carry something else on it's back. That something is the lyrical content! Now you have the message that is promoted within the songs that will give it it's value of "good" or "evil". This is the only thing to hang any accusation upon. And this would be the only thing that a court in heaven would use to judge. So any judgement by society is irrelivent. Perhaps the Bible would make a good foundation to take a stance on "good" and "evil" as long as it was taken in it's entirety, rather that taking it out of context to justify a pre-conceived notion. Now also let me state that one of the names for Lucifer, in the Bible is "The Accuser". And many of these advocates of hatred towards genres of musica are doing the devils work as they accuse. No Satanist would deny that they are singing a satanic message. So to accuse them really has no value. Yet, not all rock and roll musicians are singing about that message. And there are many rock and roll musicians out there who have positive things to say. And what's so wrong with singing about "sex"? After all it is how we came into this world, right? Rockers only sing about what the conservatives dream about night and day. They just have no inhibitions to singing about it. Perhaps, some may have aproblem with this, but it is not going to go away. So face it, this is the world we live in. It is our reality! And in our reality, the youth are not stupid. They see the reality of the world in which we live. They have eyes, ears, and a brain to reason on an intellectual level. Educated by society or not, they can see the hypocricy of so called Christians and Clergy. And this is not to mention government officials as they lie to us about the truth. They can see through the lies of their parents, and the lies of Church leaders. They see the reality of the so called Church clergy who molest young boys. And that is not to mention the young girl molested by nuns, or even parents. This is a sick society, and can not be trusted! Our world is really messed up and we are simply pawns in a larger scheme of world slavery. So it is survival mode at this point. They hear the words and see the actions of the closed minded people who would throw them out of their Church for wearing something that isn't accepted as the norm. But in reality they are not so blind as to not be able to see past all the outward trappings and look into someones heart. Rock & Roll gives them an escape from all the stupidity in the world. It gives them a place to gather with all the others in society who have been tossed aside. And now this number is growing. And this scares society because it threatens their safe little plastic bubble of preconceived notions and brainwashing philosophies. If they were really smart, they would get rid of the notion that they could ever stop rock and roll. And start supporting the rock artists that promote healing, love, and positive messages by buying their albums. Many of those in the music business that started out as "evil" have moved on in their lives. They are growing up and now becoming part of Society. They have families, children, and responsibilities in life, so it is no longer condusive to tear down Society. But rather, to change it into a viable place for everyone to co-exist in some form of harmony. And if the "accusers" would listen to the newer songs from these artists, they would find that they aren't the ememy. The enemy is "the accuser" who does so without knowing the full picture. Rock & Roll will never die, so perhaps it would be wiser to join it! If you want us to listen to you, start up a band! Sing us your message! Or if you can't play, support those who can! And if you don't do this, you will soon die off, and the new generation will be all that remains when the dust settles. Even in the early period of Gregorian chant, when composers started to make music that wasn't monophonic but was polyphonic and started to use harmonic intervals that weren't perfect fifths it was considered noised and of the devil. Only perfect fifths were the sound that represented the Deity, and everything else was evil. One thousand years into the future if you played the flated fifth you would invoke the devil himself, the same interval that kicks off the intro to Purple Haze. It seems like everything is satanic to the Christians; however, let us not forget that it was the ultra religious that killed Jesus not the sinners.
